Location: Beijing
Responsibilities
Develop business strategies and plans on correspondent banking services (such as electronic fund transfer, foreign exchange, inter-bank loans, overdraft facility, trade finance products, and / or custody) to be rolled out to existing and potential customers and maintain close contact with them.
Manage the provision of quality corespondent banking services to financial institutions and investment houses in portfolio.
Identify and minimize credit risk within the portfolio through regular credit reviews, analysis of concentration of risk and irregularities in outstanding transaction, keeping track of market developments and taking timely, proactive or remedial actions whenever appropriate.
Assess, recommend, maintain, monitor and control credit facilities offered to financial and investment institutional clients.
Assist in reviewing the developments in applicable regulations and bank policies.
Actively cross-sell all relevant bank products to clients.
Provide input on the efficient administration of routine functions and on the timely and accurate reporting of irregularities or excesses.

Requirements

Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial institutions.
Thorough knowledge of international foreign exchange, money markets, capital markets, trade finance and international settlement systems.
Solid experience in credit assessment, particularly peculiarities of financial institutions.
Good interpersonal and people management skills.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
