Incorporated in May 2007, Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited (“Hang Seng China”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong. It has a network of 18 mainland China outlets, including seven branches (in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Fuzhou and Nanjing) and 11 sub-branches (one in Beijing, seven in Shanghai, two in Guangzhou, and one in Shenzhen). Founded in 1933, Hang Seng Bank is a principal member of the HSBC Group. It operates around 150 branches and automated banking centres and 13 Business Banking Centres in Hong Kong and a branch in Macau. The Bank also has a branch in Shenzhen to provide foreign currency wholesale business and representative offices in Xiamen and Taipei.
