Job Description
We will recruit you for the Property Underwriting team. Property Underwriting transactional underwriting and costing of property business is done in close collaboration with Client Management. Property Underwriters are assessing all the risks associated to property (including fire risk and natural catastrophe risks. Regular client visits and trainings are also part of the work. In addition, underwriters are also involved in the development of new products and strategies for the fast emerging markets in Asia.

Requirements
We are looking for successful graduates who distinguish themselves in terms of their excellent academic performance, international experience, extra-curricular activities and language skills. Ideal candidates are:

Job Description
The Casualty Division is responsible for the management of the Casualty Product line.  This includes analyzing performance drivers and business practices with a goal of modifying and / or creating products that can be distributed through our Client Markets units.The division
is also responsible for actively managing the product line by underwriting individual transactions and managing the portfolio. As a member of the Casualty Treaty Desk, you will review, structure,price and also be in direct communication with an external party to sell
our products and services (both new and renewal, both proportional and non-proportional). Depending on your technical and market experience, you will at some stage assume direct underwriting responsibility on assigned markets, where you will work closely with the respective client managers in servicing our treaty clients. Beyond traditional treaty structures, you will also work with client managers and at times other line underwriters on new product offerings or bespoke financial solutions. You will maintain up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive data quality in our systems landscape to facilitate our business processes.
TRAINING
Once hired for this position, you will be part of a unique program in which you will receive 18 months of intense training. The training combines general business learning modules, and specific technical modules offering a well rounded curriculum including analytical, communication and leadership skills development linked to our corporate principles and strategy. In addition, there is on-the-job training including distance and e-learning sessions, project work, and a rotation within or to a different business area.
