Job Purpose
- Responsible for the accurate execution of foreign exchange and money market transactions. Prepare internal and external reporting on the captioned transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and ensure accurate input of dealings entered by the traders.
- Summarize all dealing positions and reconcile with the traders' records.
- Maintain accurate information on new accounts, liquidity and dealing limits.
- Input exchange rates and interest rates as required at the terminal and maintain records of them.
- Pass accounting entries for the income and expenses incurred pertaining to the maintenance of Nostro account and the relative charges.
- Follow-up on disputed cases relating to FX/MM transactions.
- Control the workflow and processes of the FX and MM transactions.
- Compile internal and external reports to serve different purposes.
- Update manuals on the treasury products and operations.
- To follow government regulations, including but not limited to those from PBOC, CBRC and SAFE, regarding AML related in particular the specific requirement on reporting to government for the transactions as defined in the regulations. Also follow any internal rules as imposed by the company related to AML activities.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Business and Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years experience in Treasury Operations.
- Thorough understanding of all the PRC rules and regulations related to Treasury Operations.
- Basic Accounting knowledge and Law knowledge.
